Who You Are
Responsible for attracting great people to lululemon, the Talent Acquisition Specialist seeks out the gems in the world that add to lululemon in values and culture. As a strategic partner to the business, the Talent Acquisition Specialist finds both internal and external talent to foster the growth of our organization. Reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition.
A Day in The Life
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will thrive in a fast paced environment and source candidates through a variety of proactive methods in order to build and help grow our GEC (Guest Education Centre). This will be a flexible remote role based on the needs of the business. The Guest Education Centre (GEC) is the contact centre for lululemon and is our vital frontline connection with our guests through a variety of channels in North America. At the GEC we see 10,000+ interactions per day across 4 channels; phone, live-chat, email, and text; your role will be hiring for this part of our business.
Responsibilities
  • Interviewing internals and externals for high volume for peak season (June to December hiring season)
  • Impacting and influencing business decisions with talent trends and strategizing closely with TA Manager and senior leaders on hiring plans and strategy
  • Sourcing candidates through a variety of pro-active methods as well as reviewing applications to open roles from our ATS.
  • Responsible for ensuring a diverse slate for all roles, utilizing a myriad of posting sites and sourcing strategies to attract and include diverse backgrounds and viewpoints.
  • Collaborates with various stakeholders such as hiring managers, HR business partners, compensation and GEC operations leads
  • Engaging in the market and community to build our footprint
  • Screening + hiring in a high-volume environment for hourly and salary roles within the guest support org at lululemon’s contact center.
  • Manages the scheduling and logistics of all internal hires, including background checks and onboarding processing
Must Haves
  • Highly ethical and able to deal with confidential issues with tact & discretion
  • Experience with HRIS (Avature and Workday) is an asset
  • Leads with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
  • 1-2 years of candidate recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment
  • You sweat the details ‘cause they matter but you don’t sweat the small stuff
  • Fosters connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.
  • Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their actions.
  • Communicates with honesty and kindness, and creates the space for others to do the same.
  • Well versed in job posting on a multitude of platforms
  • Multi-tasking is second nature – plan, organize and manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Integrates fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take themselves seriously!
  • Must be an effective team player – must possess ability to relate well to people and work in cooperation with others to effectively
  • Exceptional organization and interpersonal skills are a must
