a day in the life of a Product Manager…
Delivery & Execution
- Ensures quality of the product and manages & triages bugs efficiently
- Contributes independently, resolves complex issues in own specialist area
- Anticipates implementation challenges and develops mitigation strategies to minimize risk
- Prioritizes the backlog and ensures visibility to upstream and downstream partners
- Responsible for the product management of the PLM system: prioritizing, driving and delivering features and unlocking new capabilities
- Collects and analyzes feedback from end users, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products
- Initiates, leads & facilitates business requirements gathering with end-users and key stakeholders
- Proactively solves potential problems with other functions and avoids unnecessary conflict
- Enrolls & communicates business requirements to technical partners
- Demonstrated ability to discuss, understand, and simplify technical concepts
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Experience with retail, supply chain, or PLM technology experience preferred
- 1-2 years experience as a Product Manager
- Familiarity working in agile software development
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology or a related field
