SENIOR TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in the Aerospace and Defense industry. We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to work with our internal and external operations. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid set up) RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source and hire candidates that meet the qualifications for various positions within the organization; we focus on engineering roles as we are an engineering firm

• Screen applicants and sourced profiles over the phone/ Teams video chat;

• Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for various technical positions;

• Research various companies, websites, organizations, community groups that may have prospective candidates for name generation;

• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Degree/Diploma from a recognized institution;

• Education and/or work experience from various engineering domain would be an asset (Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering);

• Proven experience with sourcing methods including Boolean search, user groups, networking and sourcing via web channels;

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

• Attention to detail and strong time management skills;

• Capable of making fact-based, logical recommendations and decisions;

• Proficiency in MS Office and various Applicant Tracking System;

• Ability to work independently and within a team;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
