The RBC Partnership and Direct team is looking for a motivated, creative and curious person who is interested in using data and storytelling to deliver analysis and performance insights to support our business. What You’ll Do
Working closely with the SVP RBC Partnerships and Direct and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will analyze the day-to-day performance of the business. You will identify areas of opportunity for the business to improve and work closely with the SLT to plan and prioritize improvements to our business. As our business continues to evolve you will play a key role in helping the team to determine and execute on strategic plans, as well as demonstrating progress to key collaborators.
Specifically In This Role You Will
Provide insights, lead performance reviews and support governance
  • Work with SLT to support RBC Governance meetings and strategy sessions
  • Lead performance reviews with the wider team that allow for informed discussion about the results and the areas of opportunity
  • Work with the RBC and Direct teams, and across broader partners (such as personal insurance, data science and finance) to provide insight and identify areas of opportunity for improvement
  • Facilitate the sharing of insights and leverage takeaways across the RBC and Direct teams
  • Lead ad-hoc projects to improve the overall performance the business
Work with the SLT to build out strategy and monitor progress
  • Work closely with the SLT to facilitate strategic conversations
  • Help build and maintain the long term RBC Partnership and Direct roadmap
  • Work with the SLT to develop and track appropriate measurements to monitor progress against our strategy and to drive a performance culture
Report on progress against plans – Tell our story to key partners
  • Show regular progress against our key deliverables
  • Clearly communicate results on a regular basis vs business plan (in collaboration with finance)
  • Work with the SLT to track and understand the drivers behind deviance vs plan and refine projections accordingly
  • Track and measure against Digitization, Automation and Simplification objectives
