We're responsible for all aspects of asset protection in the regions, partners, and business units we support; which involves managing, coaching, developing relationships, crisis management and delivering ongoing training.
a Day In The Life
Based in one of lululemon’s North America Distribution Centers reporting to the Director, Global Security & Resilience, the Senior Manager, Global Fulfillment Asset Protection will take primary responsibility for the protection of tangible and intangible assets across the Global Fulfillment network. This person will work closely with Global Fulfillment leadership, cross functionally across key departments, and the global Asset Protection team to drive effective strategy that helps the organization protect people, places, and product.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for critical incident response
  • Manage external security associates across multiple sites, ensuring ROI; develop associates to be an integral part of the Global Fulfillment Asset Protection team
  • Work in partnership with Occupational Health & Safety team to support OH&S efforts across network
  • Maintain a dynamic risk assessment program that evaluates the risk environment across the network in order to prioritize and optimize risk mitigation actions
  • Develop and maintain effective physical security strategies to protect Global Fulfillment sites, including but not limited to policies & procedures, security system technology, external security officers, remote monitoring, etc.
  • In partnership with relevant business units, develop and manage strategies and programs that track, analyze, and ultimately reduce inventory loss & variance across global network
  • Be the ambassador for all things Security, Resiliency, and Integrity; develop a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and personal responsibility across the Global Fulfillment network of six directly operated DCs, multiple 3PL locations, and a global logistics service provider network. Champion a risk aware culture.
  • In partnership with Business Resilience team, develop and maintain crisis management and business continuity plans for Global Fulfillment network
  • Lead sensitive and complex investigations into theft, pilferage, and other major loss events; support investigations elsewhere in the organization as required. In partnership with relevant business units, build strategies and programs to proactively monitor for and identify loss
  • Develop and manage security training & awareness program
  • Maintain a strong network of industry peers, subject matter experts, service providers, and government agencies across global markets
Qualifications
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; other languages an advantage
  • Wicklander-Zulawski non-confrontational interview training and/or related experience an advantage
  • Outstanding communication skills, including proven ability to influence in all areas of an organization
  • 7-10+ years of progressive leadership responsibility in security, asset protection, internal audit or related function
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and at short notice.
