IT Technical Recruiter

Job Summary:

Under limited supervision uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or formal training to provide professional recruiting services. Recruits, sources, interviews, pipelines and screens candidates to fill existing and future job openings within the organization.

What is the position responsible for?

• Develops a pipeline of emerging talent through various campus recruitment and career fair opportunities.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop a strategic recruiting/sourcing strategy based on current market conditions
• Sources active and passive candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals, through networking, cold calling
• Interviews applicants and gathers information regarding their education, experience, training, job skills, and salary requirements
• Establishes and maintains relationships with IT hiring managers and HRBP to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs

Qualifications:

• Experience in cold calling and sourcing passive candidate using social media platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
• MS Office applications, experience in Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g, Taleo, Workday etc.)
• Build and maintain a vast network of professional relationships over a long period of time.
• Minimum of five (5) years recruiting experience, with at least three being in IT and technology roles exclusively.
• Prioritize and complete a high volume of work, managing multiple projects and coordinating multiple requests to successful completion.
