The digital advisor and client experience team is on a journey of transformation. We have a vision for the client and advisor experience of tomorrow and are looking for a smart self starter to help us tackle numerous challenges within the experience. You will be joining a high performing team working on the AX360 platform. This agile team is building the advisor dashboard of the future.


About You


  • Continuous Improvement Support – Practices continuous improvement and is on the constant lookout for opportunities; provides and adapts to continuous feedback positively
  • Stakeholder Engagement / Communication – Identifies stakeholders and ensures they are actively providing necessary inputs to teams
  • Collaboration Facilitator – Engages the right set of staff within the team based on desired goals to facilitate collaborative working sessions
  • Proactive Issue Identification – self-organizes around risks / issues / blockers; raises them as soon as they are identified or appear
  • Business Needs Discovery, Visualization, and Validation – Collaborates with business and other stakeholders to identify business needs; captures / presents business needs as user stories and visualized requirements
  • Strategy / Value Focus – Partners with key stakeholders to articulate product vision; documents problem / opportunity and broader context; defines the desired future states using outcomes as measures of success and with a strong focus on value delivery
  • Knowledge Centre for the Team– Acts as the team’s central point for business / functional knowledge and ensures developers, testers, and other team members have necessary information and knowledge to complete their activities


Key Responsibilities


  • Works in collaboration with the journey owner to organise and facilitate program increment planning (PI planning)
  • Supports the journey owner with business rule definitions
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to complete required artifacts
  • Collaborates with the team to provide a delivery estimate for user stories to gain a team commitment
  • Provides discipline, rigor, and technical skills to the requirements definition and validation process
  • Is an effective facilitator for delivery team to deliver incremental units of business value
  • Helps in user story creation in a format that supports Acceptance Test Driven Development e.g. gherkin (given, when, then)
  • Can visualize business needs / requirements as user stories
  • Works ahead of the delivery team to elicit requirements for next iteration’s user stories
  • Is an effective negotiator who can negotiate effectively with business to clarify needs vs. wants / likes in order to balance business direction / requirements with cost of development
  • Can decompose and describe business needs as stories while enabling incremental delivery
  • Works in collaboration with the journey owner to understand, elicit, analyze, document, and communicate program and platform/application requirements
  • Helps the Product Owner define and own the value definition of user stories
