We are looking for an additional Analyst, Asset Management & Investments to join our Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. (“Crestpoint”) team. Part of the Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group, Crestpoint is a commercial real estate investment manager dedicated to providing institutional and high net worth investors with direct access to commercial real estate assets. Through the execution of our disciplined investment approach and active management of our properties, we strive to deliver stable income and attractive long-term returns through a diversified portfolio of office, industrial, retail, and multi-family residential properties.
What You Will Do
- Gather and evaluate economic and market data
- Prepare property valuations and assist in the calculation of investment returns, as well as regular external client and internal property and Fund reporting requirements
- Travel from time to time related to asset and market tours and meetings with management teams and partners
- Provide assistance and support to the Asset Management team
- Provide general asset management support including the financial analysis of potential leases, cash flow projections, redevelopment projects and financing alternatives as well as other portfolio management analysis
- Participate in ad hoc projects and special assignments as needed
What You Bring
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
- Familiarity with ARGUS real estate software is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure; dealing with changes and interruptions while maintaining strict deadlines
- Proven ability to think logically and problem solve effectively
- Interest in real estate and/or real estate related fields
- Exceptional attention to detail
- 2 years of related experience; real estate asset management, valuations and/or investment experience preferred
- Excellent financial and analytical skills
- Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
