Associate, Sales Specialist – Alternatives and Synthetic Investments


Sales Function: Supporting the Director, Sales Specialist and RSM Sales Team


  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues
  • Thinks creatively and proposes new ideas on how to help the overall sales team
  • Organize, arrange, and schedule calls and presentations, which are conducted in conjunction with the RSM Sales team
  • Participates in industry and intermediary events to grow presence in the marketplace
  • Adheres to all compliance, regulatory, and legal guidelines
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules
  • Supports development, maintains, and executes a business plan, including sales strategies, to achieve sales objectives with Specialists and RSM Sales teams
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyzes data and information to provide business insights and recommendations
  • Work on PowerPoint and marketing materials to support sales in the field – on behalf of Sales Specialist and RSM Sales teams
  • Make sales and strategy recommendations based on an understanding of GAMs platform
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed
  • Provides feedback that may help to develop and market the overall business
  • Support scheduling and follow up for Specialized Sales team as guided by the team members



Qualifications:


  • Verbal & written communication skills are exceptional
  • Collaboration & team skills are exceptional
  • Understanding of Structured Notes and Alternative Investments important
  • Post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are exceptional
  • Typically, between 3 – 5 years of phone and in-person sales experiences
