Senior Business Analyst T+1

Botsford Associates is currently expanding its Business Analysis team and in doing so we are looking to add additional expertise from a middle and back office expertise standpoint within our Capital Markets division. The successful consultants will have an opportunity to immediately work on the major T+1 settlements initiative which is set to go live mid 2024. The role will involve working closely with a number of Capital Markets technology groups, meeting with users and stakeholders as well as business partners to gather and document requirements and test them accordingly.

Required Skills:

• Must have proven experience working on large scale Capital Markets projects and possess strong business acumen regarding the transaction lifecycle from Front to Back Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to elicit and document business, technical/systems requirements
• Must be well versed in the Settlements and Clearing domain
• Must be comfortable documenting use cases and helping with testing as needed
• Strong data analysis skills utilizing SQL; any exposure to Python would be an asset
