About This Team
The Senior Insights Analyst is an exceptional analytical thinker who is passionate about identifying product assortment opportunities and sales trends using best-in-class analytics tools. This individual will be part of an analytics team partnering with technology, product management, and all product functions from design and development to sourcing, fulfillment, merchandising, planning, and allocation. The Senior Insights Analyst will be responsible for developing analysis methodologies, conducting user acceptance testing, producing advanced data models, and communicating actionable findings back to business stakeholders. Partnering with the same colleagues, the Senior Insights Analyst will work on projects tackling the most difficult challenges facing our Product teams.
a day in the life

• Produce executive-level reporting gleaning insights and telling a compelling post-launch product story through data
• Supports end to end strategy and delivery for lululemon’s Product Voice of Guest program, capturing feedback across all internal and external channels and creating valuable insights to inform all areas of the business
• Conduct research and performs various analyses to drive data-driven insights for Product and Global Quality milestones and key analytics projects including but not limited to Always On Metrics Dashboard and self-service reporting tools
• Provide input to strategy and process improvement sessions around analyzing guest insights, including quantitative, qualitative, and statistical methods, including defining the tools needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Supporting in building business cases for strategic initiatives and special projects as part of AOP such as program creation, operational support, and maintenance
• Improves guest feedback sources and collaborate with teams who manage the channels and 3rd party vendors to create and implement best-in-class tools, including deeper levels of text analytics
• Support in expanding PVOG internationally and collaborate with internal stakeholders on execution
• Bring analytics/BI best practices for reporting and data infrastructure for Global Quality

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, database management, data modeling, and database structures; experience with Smartsheet and SSRS/PBI Report Builder
• Ability to build and analyze complex reports, and analyze large quantities of qualitative data, and tell a compelling story through data
• Excellent communication, spelling and grammatical attention to detail both written and verbal with external and internal stakeholders across all levels
• 5+ years of data analytics, data modeling, and reporting, preferable in a retail or supply chain environment
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
