The Customer Success Group (CSG) helps Salesforce customers optimize their investment in Salesforce. The Offer Management team within CSG builds to deliver a coordinated Success, Support, and Education customer experience. Within Offer Management, the Business Planning team helps set the strategy for all our go-to-market motions and to drive Customer Success’ business performance.


Role Description


As a Sr. Analyst, Performance & Analytics, you will help us operationalize and visualize our Customer Success data to advise leaders and provide business insights to Customer Success. You will be responsible for building predictive solutions and running ad hoc analytic products in a cloud-based environment as well as contributing to the development and improvements of those products. As a member of this team, you will develop reports and dashboards and produce data-centric recommendations to collaborators.


You will be expected to understand the business and how we apply data to drive better planning and decision-making. In this role, you will have visibility and growth across areas such as Analytics, Data Science, and Product Management. Regular collaboration and communication with non-technical audiences is a critical component of daily responsibilities.


Your Responsibilities


  • Strong Data stewardship: Be very comfortable extracting data from a wide range of sources (Salesforce, Database, Etc)
  • Be a good communicator (with both technical and non-technical partners) who can present their data analysis/findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Be passionate about the quality and have a strong sense of ownership of delivered work
  • Keep organized and contribute to a system that allows for growth
  • Be proactive, well-organized, and think broadly in your analysis and delivery of data visualization tools
  • Comprehend the business applications of our large data sets


Minimum Requirements


  • Self-starter and a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand.
  • Display a high degree of self-awareness, are adaptable in changing environments and can maintain composure – you model this for your team.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI
  • Salesforce experience/certification is a plus but not required
  • Skills with database manipulation and writing query languages such as SQL


Education/Experience


  • Previous hands-on data work
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a business environment with an emphasis on SaaS and/or Customer Success
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
