With a focus on research and analytics, this role involves contributing to forward-thinking marketing and sponsorship recommendations for Wasserman’s brand and property clients, specifically in the areas of sport and entertainment.A member of Wasserman’s industry-leading Consulting Division, successful candidates will be comfortable with rigorous data and discovery, utilizing Wasserman tools to conduct campaign & event measurement, scorecarding, brand health tracking, and impact reporting.If you have a passion for problem-solving and want to be part of an exciting, high-performance agency that puts people first, then we would love to hear from you!What will you do?Reporting to a Manager, Performance & Insights, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing segment of Wasserman’s insight-led, global, consulting practice. The successful candidate will work with teams from across multiple divisions to provide data-driven solutions that drive results for our clients.
  • Develop consumer segmentation solutions, delivering unique fan profiles representing consumer attitudes and behaviours
  • Monitor media, trends and the changing sports landscape for key industry developments
  • Conduct audience intelligence utilizing social listening and other data sources that shape insights required to inform business and marketing strategy
  • Drive project management efforts, determining critical milestones, and reporting progress in a timely manner
  • Contribute to primary and secondary research projects to gather data, analyze and extract insights across various client categories and industry verticals
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, teamwork environment while managing a team of consulting professionals
  • Design and develop custom research methodologies including, but not limited to, consumer surveying, business analysis and brand health
  • Support the development of client deliverables, POV’s, reporting tools, and supporting materials
  • Utilize proprietary and syndicated research tools to conduct sponsorship measurement to determine the return-on-investment and strategic fit for the client
  • Build data visualization tools (charts, graphs, maps, etc.) to communicate trends, outliers, and patterns in an accessible manner
RequirementsWhat Do You Need to Succeed?
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the research lifecycle and market research principles and sampling techniques.
  • Experience with syndicated research tools (e.g. Nielsen, Vividata, Scarborough, Global Web Index) is preferred.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • An interest in sports, entertainment, and / or blockchain technology.
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, with an ability to manage complex datasets.
  • Ability to script, program and test surveys using online tools is helpful.
  • Familiarity / experience with quantitative analysis.
  • Capacity to learn additional statistical programs and methodology.
  • Innate curiosity and critical thinking skills, with the ability to turn data into key insights that guide practical, strategic recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Superior interpersonal skills – must be able to work with a diverse group of internal and external partners.
  • Understanding of survey flow and logic is an asset.
Minimum Years Of Experience Necessary
  • 1+ years relevant experience preferably in strategic brand, sponsorship consulting, and/or insights & analytics functions.
Minimum Degree(s) And Certification(s) Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in business and/or marketing or equivalent experience.
