Senior Business Analyst - Healthcare

With over 10 years of experience, we developed the Canadian Vaccine Catalogue, the CANImmunize app, and most recently, ClinicFlow, an award-winning software solution that has powered COVID-19 immunization campaigns across the country. What is the opportunity?

We’re looking for an engaging Senior Business Analyst (“Senior BA”) to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the company's growth as a leading immunization software company by aligning product development efforts with business goals and delivering valuable solutions to meet customer needs.

This person will demonstrate success by effectively translating business and technical requirements into development tasks, enabling on-time and on-spec project delivery and driving product innovation to align with the expected business values.

Responsibilities

• Engage regularly with Project Managers, Engineers and QAs and act as liaison between business and technical areas by responding to questions, reviewing the backlog to prioritize tickets, supporting development and testing activities, clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment throughout the entire development cycle.
• Organize and facilitate training and user education to the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) group and communicating features/bugs to them, in collaboration with the QA team
• Create documentation, process models, workflows, functional specifics, end-user guides and user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
• Help translate business strategy into structured solution requirements by identifying problem areas, gaps or conflicts derived from gathered information.
• Demo existing and new products and features to clients
• Management of clients’ business, functional and technical requirements elicitation, validation and prioritization activities while managing stakeholder expectations and scope.
• Confidently lead internal and external meetings.
• Work collaboratively with the team via Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Figma and other tools as needed

What you need to succeed:

• Meticulous organizational and time management skills
• Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis and management for small to medium initiatives
• Thoughtful decision maker who is able to bring actionable and grounded recommendations to senior leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An analytical and detail-oriented outlook: experience in problem-solving complex problems, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Proven facilitation, problem-solving and analytical skills
• A minimum of 5 years of Business Analysis related experience in healthcare
• Communicates effectively and is able to articulate deeply technical topics to business representatives, coupled with influencing skills and ability to drive agreement Experience with Jira, Confluence and other documentation and modeling tools.
