Senior Financial Analyst, Fp&A, Contract

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team, for a 12-month contract.

The role will require working in office 2 days a week in Mississauga.

Job description:

• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
• Manage consolidation, analysis and reporting of monthly/quarterly and YTD P&L
• Work with the Senior Director of Marketing, R&D & Admin Senior Leaders in the business planning and forecasting process across the organization and lead the annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
• Lead 5-year Strategic Plan on OPEX
• Support SAP implementation
• Support monthly financial & business reviews. Provide in depth analysis order to enable decision making by key stakeholders of the organization
• Partner with Marketing Team managing marketing annual budget, funding allocation, reforecasting and ROI analysis on investment
• Generate Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Financial Statement and ensure accurate financial results

Job requirements:

• On track to acquire post-secondary finance designation/degree (CPA, CFA, MBA)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, variance analysis, and budgeting/forecasting
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to all stakeholders including senior leadership
• High Proficiency in Excel (index, sumifs, VBA, power queries, etc.)
