Sales Representative - Craft Brewery - Lower Mainland

We may be a little biased but, we think we make some pretty dang good beer. Our team works hard to create unique and delicious products that we don’t want to just keep to ourselves. The sales team at Field House is a key part of getting our beer into the hands of people across the province.

We’re looking for someone who loves beer and loves people! To us it’s so much more than good beer, it’s about building relationships and connecting. Whether that’s here locally in our community or seeing friends coming together in the comfort of their own homes over a cold one.

As a member of the crew, you will get to be a part of a group of amazing people that are passionate about beer, food, community and working together to create a great experience with each other and our guests.

Key Areas of Accountability:

I. Driving sales growth by maintaining relationships with wholesale accounts and acquiring new accounts

• Conducting tastings and making knowledgeable recommendations
• Support in optimizing Sales Processes and Tools.
• Developing sales strategies - identifying and creating new partnerships with businesses to grow distribution points.
• Collaborating on Growth Strategy and allocation of resources.
• Creating a great experience for our external customers. Working with other areas to drive this.

II. Actively selling our beer to current accounts

• Recording all account activity in company CRM
• Awareness of distribution costs.
• Build and maintain a journey plan to meet call rate objectives
• Driving external package and draught sales revenue.
• Support order desk and distribution to optimize efficiencies.

III. Communicating internally with Sales Team

• Sales Support - processing orders, being involved in external event organization.
• Representing Field House at on and offsite marketing events.
• Reporting on weekly sales, making suggestions to ensure targets are achieved and actioned.
• Working with Senior Leadership to meet Sales Targets and Stretch Goals.
• Reviewing Forecasts and collaborating on annual sales planning.
• Communicating with the team to meet weekly / monthly / annual sales targets.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Ability to meet deadlines
• Enthusiastic about working with great people, great food, and great beer!
• Strong organizational skills
• Sales experience of 1-2 years
• Proficient communication skills
• Outgoing, and friendly
