Hire4Me is excited to partner with a growing short-term rental management company in its search for an Operations Manager. This unique role offers the opportunity to coordinate and manage various tasks, including overseeing operations for units in Canada and the United States, managing virtual assistants, handling finances, generating reports, and providing immediate responses to customers. We want to hear from you if you are a flexible, engaged professional who can deliver high-quality results with experience in short-term rentals.
What qualifies YOU for this position?
- Strong financial management and report-generation skills.
- Have consistent access to your own vehicle with a full G license
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and a forward-thinking mindset.
- Flexibility in schedule to meet the needs of an industry that operates 24/7.
- Residing within 1 hour of the Kitchener-Waterloo region.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with virtual assistants and clients.
- Comfortable with a bring-your-own-device (BYOD) policy.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the short-term rental industry.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to work independently.
What will your SPECIFIC duties be as an Operations Manager?
- Handle company finances, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain the high standards of the company across all managed units.
- Coordinate with virtual assistants and manage the overall operations.
- Generate detailed reports as required for evaluation and planning.
- Oversee inventory management and setup of rental properties.
- Be prepared to handle emergencies promptly and professionally.
