Job Description
We are looking for an individual to join our collaborative team who will act as a subject matter expert
and owner of our single risk administration. You will take the lead on client data & operations processes
as well as reporting issues & controls for internal stakeholders. To do this you will need to be resilient
and flexible, able to apply your knowledge and skills to challenges in an evolving operating environment,
and work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds across the business.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop experience of operations, performance analysis,
stakeholder management and data management.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring all claim settlement requests from the portfolio are appropriate, within treaty terms
  • Resolve any data issues with clients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Monitor unallocated cash balances
  • Perform Single Risk Administration (Cession Management) for a portfolio of clients
  • Receive, log and publish raw client inforce and transaction data
  • Ensure risk is within treaty parameters and in line with facultative details
  • Initiate reinsurance payment disbursements (net settlements etc.)
  • Monitor past due balances and follow-up with clients as required
  • Emphasise data quality and integrity in every step of the process
  • Create and enter premium accruals (estimates) on a quarterly basis
and conditions, and settled within relevant service standards
  • Participation in Support Single Risk Projects and operational improvement and project
  • Support internal and third party audits
activities to enhance the value added by the Operations team
  • Maintain accurate and current procedural notes
  • Develop and maintain good relations with colleagues
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience & industry knowledge
  • Have an understanding of treaty wording & application
  • Strong Excel skills. (SQL & Power BI an asset)
  • (Re)insurance administration experience
