The Regional Sales Manager position is responsible for driving the sales of our services cement industry. This is an individual contributor role working within our team “pod” structure reporting to the Head of Sales.


Your Responsibilities


The position as Regional Sales Manager, located in Thailand office. You will handle agents, customers and clients in the Asia Region.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share; build value propositions
  • And opportunities.
  • Follow up on customer visits
  • Provide Sales Training to Agents
  • Manage agents and/or sub-agents, hereunder:
  • Act as the primary customer contact, building and maintaining strong relationships known for
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize sales potential and draft proposals.
  • Takes notice of agent's performance and follow up
  • Visit installation sites to consult with customers on equipment operations, replacement
  • And ROI to differentiate FLSmidth.
  • Manage expense account to keep costs in line with budgeted regional target while adhering
  • To defined budget guidelines.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Requirements and pending scope of work.
  • Country overall responsible including budget goals with the agents within Asia.
  • Show leadership values (morale, ethics, taking logical actions and working in FLSmidth’s interests)
  • Frequent face to face or remote meetings
  • Set KPI’s based on Agent Handler’s overall KPI’s
  • Be the single point for the Agents.
  • Complete regular entries and updates in CRM application to include contacts, appointments
  • Provide feedback on behavior and set directions
  • Collaborate with KAM (Export Sales) on Priority Customers
  • Shared budget
  • Update meetings before visiting priority customers
  • Collaborate on open proposal, closing orders, negotiation, outstanding payments etc.
  • Travel with KAM to get closer to each other and strengthen the collaboration – Teamwork is key to success!
  • 100 amount of visits each year with agents within given territory
  • Customer visits with agents and/or sub-agents, herunder:
  • Coordinating with Capital Sales if customer is asking for activities out of the service portfolio
  • Close orders, negotiating with customer, Collecting overdue payment and Deciding payment terms.


What You Bring


  • Knowledge of industry & cement process equipment with specific knowledge and working experience on spare parts and services.
  • Ideal residential location would be in Thailand or happy to relocate.
  • Territory of coverage will be select cement accounts in Asia & Australia.
  • Industrial plants is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience selling in the cement industry.
  • B.S.c degree in Engineering or similar education or industry experience.
  • Eagerness to travel, 75% of time should be spent conducting visits to our customers.
  • Direct engagement and cement knowledge of these markets within this region as well as other
  • Proactive nature with effective communication & presentation skills in English written & spoken and strong problem-solving skills.
