Regional Controller Jobs

Description

Our client based in Richmond is looking for a Regional Controller for their Canadian business.

Reporting to the CFO, the Regional Controller must have a strong operational focus and will play a major role in production reporting, the month-end closing process as well as supervision of the daily accounting functions.

The individual must be able to make strong connections with other departments and individuals within the organization. Major duties include a review of production reporting, a review of month-end balance sheet reconciliation preparation, income statement analysis, and streamlining or radical revision of current process flows.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

• 5 years of accounting supervisory experience in a similar role or as a Controller where there has been a demonstrated progression in duties and responsibilities
• Current accounting designation a must.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn complex systems quickly and past experience with complex ERP systems
