Job Purpose: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for overseeing all office administrative functions. This a full-time, salaried position and benefits are included.
Reports To: Office Manager and Vice President
Job Responsibilities and Duties: Duties performed by the employee in this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
·General administrative duties including, but not limited to, miscellaneous administrative support, ordering of supplies, and maintaining central files
·Answering phone and directing calls to the appropriate staff member
·Coordinating meetings and managing calendars for President, Vice President, and others
·Handling meeting and conference room calendar coordination, including meeting setup and breakdown
·Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and courier
·Procurement of all office supplies, kitchen food items and facilities supplies
·Greet and properly direct all clients and guests
·Perform other administrative office tasks as needed
Job Requirements:
·2+ years of administrative/clerical experience
·High school diploma
·Bachelor’s degree or college diploma will be seen as an asset
·Strong work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail
·Strong organizational skills
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office
·Proficiency in Sage and/or Quickbooks will be seen as an asset
·Willingness to join and contribute to a dynamic investment team that fosters a positive and enjoyable work environment
Schedule and Work Location:
·9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
·Office setting in Kitchener, Ontario
·This is an in-person office position
