We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control/Assurance Manager to ensure that our products/services meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
Position Summary:
The Quality Control/Assurance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the quality control and assurance program. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing product/service quality, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and optimizing production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management:Develop and implement quality control and assurance processes and procedures.
Establish and maintain quality standards, specifications, and benchmarks.
Monitor and assess product/service quality throughout the production lifecycle.
Team Leadership:Train and manage workforce to adhere to quality management systems
Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Process Improvement:Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance product/service quality.
Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and results. Prepare regular reports on quality performance and present findings to senior management. Document total daily production.
Customer Satisfaction:Work closely with customer support teams to address quality-related customer concerns and implement corrective actions.
Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving:Lead investigations into quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field. or 3 years of experience in quality control and assurance, with a minimum of 1 year in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems - ISO 9001.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies - Six Sigma & Lean or comparable.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations is considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:

Abbotsford, BC V2T 5W5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
