Position Overview:

As the QA/QC Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout all phases of the Stellantis EV Battery Plant project. Your expertise in pipe and structural welding, coupled with your in-depth knowledge of ASME codes and standards, will be crucial in maintaining the project's integrity and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits to ensure that all project activities are performed in accordance with established quality and safety protocols.
• Maintain a comprehensive documentation system for quality control records, inspection reports, and test results.
• Collaborate closely with project engineers, supervisors, and contractors to address any quality-related issues and provide timely solutions.
• Lead and manage the QA/QC team, overseeing all quality control activities on the project site.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA/QC program aligned with ASME codes and standards, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough inspections of welding processes, both pipe and structural, to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality standards and optimize operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in overseeing pipe and structural welding quality control activities.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS CWI or CSWIP will be a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and their application in construction projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to quality control.
• Extensive knowledge of ASME codes, particularly related to welding processes (ASME Section IX).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC management role within the construction or industrial sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
