The REIT currently utilizes a hybrid model with employees working in the office for a portion of each week.Employees have the flexibility of a hybrid work model and are welcome to be in the office as often as they prefer as Nexus has dedicated workspace for each employee.
Description
We are seeking a Property and Office Administrator to join our property management team.The Property and Office Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day property portfolio administration including but not be limited to:
-First point of contact for tenant correspondence (from an operational and leasing standpoint)
-Code invoices & prepare purchase orders
-Administer, review and monitor service contracts
-Liaise with Property Accountants and Property Managers to ensure the accuracy of information
-Prepare checklists for tenant move-in and move-outs and ensure all documentation is completed
-Assist with budget process and new-year / year-end billings
-Abstract leases and set up tenants in Yardi
-Track tenant certificates of insurance for expiry and compliance
-Update and ensure accuracy of tenant contact lists
-Prepare welcome package for tenants and general coordination for new tenants (including acquisition
transition/onboarding); transition utility accounts as required
-Contract vendors as required (with direction from property managers)
-Assist with accrual and accounts payable inquiries
-Support Property Managers and Executives with tasks as required
Qualifications and Requirements
-A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
-Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
-Conscientious with attention to detail
-Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
-Customer service orientation
-Knowledge of Yardi software is an asset
-Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
