Project Manager, Quality Operations

As a Project Manager within the Quality Operations Department at STEMCELL Technologies, you’ll work with high visibility to build relationships and add value to the business. Working closely with external and internal stakeholders, you’ll use your leadership skills within cross-functional teams to complete projects that will add capabilities to the company in myriad ways, with particular focus on software implementation and overall process improvement projects. By applying project management best practices within STEMCELL’s defined project execution process, you’ll oversee the day-to-day tasks to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on scope.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Employ leadership skills to engage with subject matter experts from across the organization to ensure relevant project and design information is captured in project documentation and considered during the project lifecycle
• Manage the overall project delivery through all stages from initiation to closeout, ensuring the approved project scope is delivered on time and within budget
• Present project updates to Senior Managers and Executives on a weekly and monthly basis
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, senior management, and other internal and external stakeholders to align on project priority
• Work collaboratively with other team members to identify and analyze project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and produce and control project timelines

Knowledge And Qualifications

• Experience with business analysis and supporting business proposals
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in a project management role
• Strong computer literacy experience with word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management and database applications
• Experience communicating and influencing within a complex interdisciplinary environment
• Project Management Program (PMP) certification would be an asset
