Operations Manager Jobs

Our client has been an industry-leading blower-truck company for almost 30 years, servicing landscapers, homeowners, property managers, and construction companies in the Lower Mainland. They are the first and most experienced blower-truck company in Canada, providing an all-inclusive service and installation of products almost anywhere, quickly, and cost-effectively. They are looking for an operations Manager to work closely with the admin team and Estimator to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. There is a great opportunity for growth and development in the role.

Responsibilities:

· Planning and estimating labor and materials

· Preparing job quotes for customers

· Streamlining processes and administrative tasks

· Working with customers to determine the best solutions

· Maintaining timesheets and work schedules

· Establishing best practices for scheduling jobs

· Resolving work-related problems

· Leading monthly meetings for production and accountability

· Meeting tight deadlines based on customer schedules

· Creating team bonds with staff and being a leader

· Ensuring daily checklists are completed and following health & safety practices

· Placing orders with vendors for landscaping materials

· Managing GPS on company trucks and chase vehicles

· Organizing and scheduling truck maintenance

· Resolving equipment-related issues

· Seeking out new customers

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years of industry experience and managing staff

· Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills

· Polite, professional attitude

· Provide exceptional customer service

· Ability to problem solve

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel

· Knowledge of market preferences, competition, regulations, and industry trends

· High School or equivalent required, or higher education
