Job Description
We are looking for a Director, Client Partnerships to join our team! When you join Aequilibrium, you get to be a part of a fun and agile company driving innovative change in FinTech and VR. The Director, Client Partnerships will be responsible for the growth and delivery of digital and consulting services to mainly Banking/Financial Services companies. A key focus for the leader will be to increase sales and revenue by building key business and IT relationships with existing customers. A successful candidate will need to be able to find opportunities, identify the best solution, bring together the sales, and lead the delivery of our engagements. This role requires a combination of strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of professional services.


This individual will be strategic and proactive in maintaining and expanding an account and comes with professional services experience with a technical background.


Who You Are


  • You will build and grow the funnel of opportunities and lead expansion into our current client accounts
  • You will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to generate new leads and business prospects
  • You will maintain and fortify relationships with strategic alliance partners
  • You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns
  • You will be a trusted advisor to our clients and build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • You will collect feedback from clients and use it to make improvements in service delivery.
  • You will be proactive and lead and prepare for account planning sessions to plan for the expansion of our accounts
  • You will communicate regularly with senior management and other stakeholders to provide updates on client relationships and departmental performance.
  • You will understand client needs, objectives, and challenges.
  • You will negotiate contracts, service-level agreements, and other agreements with clients.
  • You will develop and execute strategies to expand the client portfolio and meet revenue targets
  • You will identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services to existing clients
  • You will mitigate risks associated with client projects and relationships and implement best practices and a plan to minimize potential issues and risks.
  • You will ensure that we provide a remarkable client experience which is our committed mission
  • You will develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and profitability of the professional services department.


Must Have Qualifications


  • Strong technical knowledge and skills (do not require you to know how to code) but have strong knowledge of technology
  • Have analytical and financial skills in order to forecast and report revenue, expenses, and project completion milestones
  • Have at minimum 3 years working in a professional services environment
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of talents, personalities, and teams
  • Experience leading account planning sessions and establishing processes and key metrics for account management
  • Ability to work under pressure, within tight deadlines, and maintain a good sense of humor, tact, and professionalism
  • Experience managing multiple clients and accounts simultaneously and reporting regularly on progress
  • A proven track record of retaining and growing client accountsStrong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, timeline-driven, and ambiguous environment.
  • Highly developed communication, presentation, leadership, facilitation, and negotiation skills
