Key Responsibilities:

• Follow and comply with Cube Management System (CMS)
• Direct and coordinate production activities through direct reports while achieving plant success in running quality products, and production efficiencies as well as achieving established KPIs across all shifts

Duties:

• Train, evaluate, and develop team members
• Verify the readiness of the production line at start-up and supervise changeovers
• Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure equipment is running at required levels/rates
• Work closely with planning to carry out the schedule and oversee time management of all staff
• Ensure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times
• Layered audits to ensure procedures are implemented as planned insuring quality and safety is maintained
• Monitor the production process, make periodic checks, and adjust equipment or work practices according to standard operating procedures
• Lead to resolving open JHSC action items within production departments in a timely manner
• Other duties and tasks as assigned
• Implement standard work practices across all shifts with a focus on lean manufacturing methodologies and 5S
• Develop and update processes and procedures to optimize production efforts through standardized work
• Manage labor while achieving efficiencies within budget
• Ensure zero lost time accidents and maintain a safe work environment at all times
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments to maintain high-quality standards and Improve manufacturing efficiency

Skills and Education

• Leadership qualities and time management skills
• Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Degree/Diploma and/or the equivalent of education plus work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of Production leadership experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment preferably in injection molding
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written
• Computer literacy – ERP, Word, Excel, and Outlook
