Skill/Requirements:

• Leadership skills
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations including W.H.M.I.S
• Knowledge of manufacturing machinery and processes
• Knowledge of budgets
• Highly motivated and able to motivate others
• Communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of the Labour Relations Act
• Ability to make effective and prompt decisions
• Problem solving/analytical skills

Responsibilities:

• Budget Preparation and monitoring
• Oversee the manufacturing operation an a 3-shift rotation
• Manage personnel
• Ensure compliance to Company policies/procedures, the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations and the Collective Agreement
• Quality, on-time delivery, productivity and cost
• Oversee Maintenance functions
• Other duties as assigned
• Forecast manpower requirements
