Production And Shipping Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production and Shipping Specialist for Ketubahs. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy for our Ketubahs and managing the shipping process to ensure timely and secure delivery to our customers. Your keen eye for detail, organizational skills, and commitment to customer satisfaction will be crucial in ensuring the success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
● Perform thorough quality control inspections on all Ketubahs to verify their accuracy, adherence to design specifications, and overall quality standards.
● Identify and document any defects, errors, or deviations from specifications, and communicate them to the production team for necessary adjustments or corrections.
● Coordinate with the design and production teams to address quality issues, provide feedback, and suggest improvements to enhance the overall quality of our Ketubahs.
● Ensure the accuracy of customer information, shipping addresses, and other relevant details for each Ketubah order.
● Cut printed Ketubahs to the specified size, ensuring precise measurements and clean edges.
● Number Ketubahs sequentially following established protocols.
● Pack and label Ketubahs appropriately, adhering to shipping requirements and ensuring they are protected during transportation.
● Collaborate with customer service representatives to address customer inquiries or concerns regarding the quality or shipping status of their Ketubah orders.
● Maintain and monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies, such as packaging materials, labels, and shipping boxes, ensuring an adequate supply to support shipping operations.
● Proactively order shipping supplies in a timely manner to replenish stock and prevent any disruptions in the shipping process.
● Maintain and monitor inventory levels of Jewish Wedding Shop products designated for resale, ensuring sufficient quantities are available to meet customer demands.
● Admin. support: sending mail to our bookkeeper, data entry, filing etc.
Qualifications:
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to quality control inspections.
● Proficient computer skills, including experience with database management, shipping software, and Microsoft Office applications.
● Ability to read Hebrew is a plus.
● Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams, address customer inquiries, and provide clear instructions or feedback.
● Ability to work independently as well as in a team, demonstrating reliability, initiative, and a positive attitude.
● Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle occasional peak workloads or urgent shipping requests.
● Familiarity with Ketubahs, their cultural significance, and the attention to detail required in their production is a plus.
