Shipping / Receiving Associate Jobs

Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Shipping/Receiving Associate to work at a nationwide leader in the food industry in Winnipeg, MB. As a Shipping/Receiving Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods within our client's organization. The ideal candidate would have both a warehouse and customer service background.

• Pay Rate: $18/hour
• Location: Winnipeg, MB
• Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Job type: Full-time | Temporary

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stock sales floor to enhance the sales experience for our customers.
• Organize warehouse to ensure ease of locating product.
• Pick orders so they are ready for customer pickup.
• Receive and ship product accurately.
• Conducts inventory cycle counts.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Hardlines merchandising experience
• Able to work independently
• High School Diploma, or GED
• Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work effectively with others in a team-based environment
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
• Previous experience in working with inventory in a retail or distribution environment
• Strong customer service orientation
