Credit Shipping / Receiving Clerk

The Toronto branch of Patterson Dental is looking for a Warehouse Clerk to join their team. You will be responsible for the branch shipping and receiving.

Major Duties

• Receive inbound shipments, verify items received and efficiently store inventory.
• Ensure the control of loaner equipment.
• Ship defective equipment to our National Repair Center.
• Back-Up for returns and credits to customers.
• Schedule shipments with online tools and apply shipping labels to outgoing shipments.
• Perform other tasks requested or required.
• Ensure orders are packed properly to avoid any damage during shipping.
• Operating forklift as required.
• Prepare documentation as required for outgoing shipments.
• Scan all purchase orders into the system.
• Keep track of shipments.
• Coordinate returns from customers shipments.
• Inventory control.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
• Hold a valid forklift license.
• Work experience preferably in receiving, order processing, shipping, or customer service.
• Excellent time & space management skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• The candidate must be able to read and understand the service process, as well as follow the work instructions within the department.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), use of computers and printers.
