Pedagogical Coordinator (With Pedagogical Digital Expertise)

The position holder participates in the coordination and harmonization of various pedagogical practices at the College, particularly regarding the implementation of policies, success plans, and teacher skill development at the College. The exercise of their mandate involves three main areas of action: pedagogical development, including the integration of educational technologies in teaching, teacher professional development, and curriculum development. This position reports to the Deputy Director of Studies at LaSalle College, a member of the LCI Education network.

Responsibilities

• Offer or promote pedagogical development to teaching staff.
• Stay up to date with news and trends in the field of pedagogy, educational applications, and other technologies useful for teaching and learning.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, evaluation, updating, harmonization, and development of study programs.
• Collaborate with the LCI Education information technology team and teaching teams in assessing needs and implementing educational technologies.
• Support program managers in the process of selecting new teachers.
• Initiate, advise, assist, and train teachers in the use of pedagogical-digital applications.
• Coordinate resources, pedagogical or pedagogical-digital projects, activities, or teacher training programs.
• Support various stakeholders in implementing activities that promote student success.
• Contribute to or develop and update pedagogical materials, institutional documents, learning assessment tools, and pedagogical templates.
• Support the development and adaptation of courses (online, flex (comodal), blended, or in-person).
• Support groups of teachers or program teams in the implementation of pedagogical and pedagogical-digital projects.
• Perform any other tasks related to the role.
• Analyze the compliance of course plans, activity schedules, and assessments.
• Collaborate with all College personnel to ensure quality service to students.
• Contribute to the resolution of pedagogical and pedagogical-digital problems.
• Guide teaching staff in their professional development.
• Participate in verifying the application of pedagogical policies and guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Education

• University degree at the undergraduate or graduate level in education, pedagogy, educational technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in training, teaching, or similar roles.
• Knowledge of the higher education environment.
• Good proficiency in French and English, both oral and written.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Office 365.
