Job Description

Relate is New Zealand’s largest relationship and couples therapy specialist agency. We are currently expanding outside of Oceania. Our Mission is to help couples create amazing, connected and fulfilling relationships through connecting specialist relationship therapists and individuals, families and couples requiring their support. Central to our mission is the belief that clients deserve a therapist who is trained in the nuances of working with relationships and passionate about being the best they can be.

Are you a relationship specialist able to receive more clients from around the world? Do you want to develop your skills in working with couples? Do you work with people in relationships in some other capacity e.g. social work, pastoral, and legal professions? Do you want to connect your clients with world class educational resources? Do you have a niche speciality e.g. eating disorders, addictions etc and want to create resources to share?

Relate is currently accepting interviews for contracted Relate Associates. Associates are passionate professionals who work as contractors for Relate and new or fairly new to couples work. Associates will need to complete an intensive 2 month course on Presence Oriented Relationship Therapy before being considered as an associate. This will consist of approximately 40 hours of online learning and 8 hours of live group training facilitated by our director Steven Dromgool. The cost of training is based upon trainee location. Registrants before July 1 get a discounted rate. There are 4 spaces available for the July 27 start date.

To be an Associate provider:

  2. You have an interest in becoming a skilled couples and relationship therapist.
  3. You are willing to invest in additional training to upskill.

Our Affiliates:

  2. May have a specialty that would benefit some couples e.g.pastoral or addictions worker.
  3. Have clients that would benefit from receiving relationship support?

Or

  1. Have an audience that is interested in relationship content - e.g. Influencer, Coach, Personal Trainer?

Our creators:
