Job Description

To support our growth, we are currently seeking an Office Manager for the Ottawa Greater Area. The best candidates will be professional, reliable individuals with a strong work ethic and an ambitious desire to help our team achieve our goals. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Office Manager will ideally be in Ottawa or in Metcalfe.

JOB SUMMARY


  • Number of positions to be filled: 1
  • Regular hours of work: 6:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Starting date: As soon as possible
  • Job type: Full-time, permanent
  • Others: Benefits, car allowance, cellphone and laptop


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Onboarding and training of new administrative staff
  • Oversee and accountable for payroll and commission reports
  • Oversee and accountable for payables, accounts receivables and collections
  • Ensure all month end requirements are being completed consistently
  • Oversee the complete billing cycle and invoice verification
  • Review of profitability for all jobs on invoices
  • Oversee insurance contracts
  • Assist with administrative staff annual performance reviews
  • Oversee and accountable for processing the credit applications
  • Assist in budget planning / review week / month / quarter / annual Dashboards
  • Ensure presence at both offices (RAM & TDC, Ottawa and Metcalfe)
  • Assist in administrative staff annual performance reviews
  • Accountable for petty cash
  • Ensure the staffing level of the team is maintained and optimized, and once the approval has been obtained, hire when required
  • Manage non-payments due to customer problems (installation, defects)
  • Oversee Health and safety, WSIB and administrative safety portals

YOUR PROFILE


  • Very good organizational skills
  • Capacity to positively influence the organization
  • 5 to 7+ years of experience in the construction industry or in the retail industry
  • Versatile with technology
