We focus on providing a roles that enables team members to spend time pursuing their hobbies outside of work and get to make friends at the office. A major part of your role is to help foster this environment from planning company trips abroad to climbing destinations to creating a fun and productive space in Squamish..

Software being developed at Redpoint Technologies includes Easy Expense (easy-expense.com) which services over 40,000 active users. Easy Expense uses AI to automate bookkeeping for small business owners and is a venture backed company.

Your Role

As a startup you will need to preform a variety of tasks. This is a part time role initially but could easily move to full time for the right fit.

Your responsibilities would include:

• HR - payroll, time off, benefits management
• Trip Planning - plan company trips to climbing destinations, including booking accommodations and flights
• Office Management - ordering snacks and general office supplies, tidying the office, decorating, overall creating a great vibe for everyone working here
• Bookkeeping - labeling purchases and performing basic reports such as balance sheets and statements of operation

A good fit for the role is someone who is

• Ability to learn and work with new software.
• Excited to work at a startup, grow into new roles and help where needed.
• Outgoing and brings a positive attitude. Empathetic person who cares about everyone on the team and making them feel included.
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and excel. If you have more accounting/ finance experience that is a huge plus.
• Tidy, organized and attention to detail. If you get excited by the idea of decorating and caring for an office that has character then this would be a good role. Everyone is expected to pull their weight and help with cleaning but you are motivated to add the polish.
• Being into climbing and playing board games :)
