Job Objective

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementation and execution of activities associated with and supporting the growth of residential/commercial/institutional and industrial HVAC sales in the US market. The primary function is to promote and generate sales of our line of HVAC Applied Equipment by representing Tempeff's business to independent sales representatives, contractors and specifying engineers and all those who specify or use our HVAC products. Acquire and direct a team of independent sales representatives and provide leadership toward achieving maximum profitability and growth aligned with the company vision and values. Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for clients and representatives. Monitor and respond to competitive actions and changes in the market dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and Follow Up Quotations
  • Evaluate and assess existing underperforming representatives
  • Work with other senior managers to develop the company's short- and long-term strategic direction
  • Travel as required to promote Tempeff products to representatives, engineers, contractors and end-users
  • Evaluate, establish, train and support new representatives in un-represented territories
  • Control Pricing to Achieve Sales and Gross Margin Goals
  • Set and Monitor Performance Goals
  • Develop, manage and execute a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures the attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Maintain CRM and an organized electronic project filing system
  • Coordinate and Participate in Rep and Customer Training
  • Feedback field requirements to improve products and increase customer satisfaction
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFQ responses
  • Develop and manage tools to aid in sales functions (promotional items, software improvement and development)
  • Budget Planning
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Manage, support and grow the Established Rep Network


Qualifications

  • Prefer experience and skills related to the HVAC field
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Demonstrated skills in business planning and customer analysis
  • 5+ years in a sales management role, either inside or outside that utilizes independent representatives
  • Experience with and knowledge of HVAC distribution channels
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in an independent manner
  • Strong leadership and sales acumen
  • Ability to develop customer and area-specific air marketing growth plans
  • Familiarity with CRM software applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or diploma in technology from college or university or equivalent
  • Strong presentation skills (Ability to effectively develop and present to management professionals)
