Our client in Newmarket is looking for a Meter Data Analyst

Role:

The Meter Data Analyst is responsible for managing smart meter data and identifying/investigating meter communication issues for their portfolio of clients.

Salary:

$40,000 - $60,000

Responsibilities:

• Update business processes using Microsoft Word and IBM Blueworks Live.
• Lead regular update meetings with customers.
• Programming language skills, such as SQL, Oracle, and Python
• Troubleshoot problems related to AMI business processes to determine possible solutions; present options to the business which will determine new policies and procedures.
• Analyze data and identify use cases that translate into business benefits.
• Identify and implement new ways to enhance business processes.
• Ability to analyze, model and interpret data
• Prepare a daily summary identifying system service level commitments and key performance indicators.
• The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
• Collect data and conduct data analysis, review reports, manage, and resolve exceptions (errors) across multiple systems.
• Verify AMI meter data and monitor for issues.

Experience:

• Data analysis practices and statistics
• Data flow processes
• 1-3 years of utility sector experience preferred, including familiarity with AMI, MDM/R, CIS, or ODS
• Visualization dashboards
• Oracle and SQL Server

Education:

• University degree or College diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or Statistics
