Description

ConocoPhillips Canada is currently recruiting a Calgary based Senior Production Revenue Accounting Analyst. This position will be in the Production Revenue Accounting Team, reporting to the Supervisor, PRA & Royalty and is responsible for production revenue accounting and analysis for our Canadian assets.

Responsibilities

• Providing volumes in support of DD&A calculations
• Support in the calculation of monthly production numbers and price realizations
• Performing monthly financial analysis on production and revenue in support of Canada F&PA team
• Responsible for monthly reporting to E&SE groups and commodity tax support
• Intercompany elimination entries, balancing, and profit in inventory elimination entries
• Year end and SOX audit support
• Promote positive interaction and communication with management, other employees in Calgary, and Bartlesville to provide superior support to the business.
• Focuses on knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and strong problem resolution. Is proactive in supporting business needs and best practices.
• Performing monthly volumetric reporting and other regulatory reporting
• Work closely with Commercial department to ensure accurate recording of sales, transportation, and inventory transactions.
• Recording monthly accruals for revenues, royalties, transportation, and inventories
• Balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with COP policies

Qualifications

• Production revenue accounting and/or marketing accounting experience required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in a related field.
• Must be a key team player, who is approachable, fosters common objectives and commitment, and is able to work with minimum supervision.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree, Finance designation (CMA, CPA or CGA) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to process multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines and set priorities to keep pace with a changing work environment is essential.
• Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills with the ability to positively manage changes and challenges.
