Two (2) years of experience performing duties related to the above mentioned major responsibilities

Working knowledge of displacement type-cold water meters AWWA C700-20

Working knowledge of NSF Standards for Water Treatment Systems-NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61

Working knowledge of municipal water systems and water metering systems

Advanced skills include: Interpersonal; Verbal Communication; Written Communication

Completed high school diploma or equivalent education.

Minimum of 2 years construction related experience including plumbing experience.

Physically able to perform the requirements of the position.

Experience completing forms and reports, ensuring accuracy of details.

Accurately completes daily timesheets which include all pertinent meter installation and repair information.

Mechanical equipment knowledge is an asset.

·Communicate with installing contractors regarding installation requirements, equipment deliveries and deficiency corrections;

·Communication skills (written and verbal);

·Electrical Knowledge is a must;

·Excellent troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical equipment

·Post-Secondary School Graduate Certification and/or Electrical Trade;

Collect data and conduct data analysis, review reports, manage, and resolve exceptions (errors) across multiple systems.

Analyze data and identify use cases that translate into business benefits.

Programming language skills, such as SQL, Oracle, and Python

2-5 years of utility sector experience preferred, including familiarity with AMI, MDM/R, CIS, or ODS

Verify AMI meter data and monitor for issues.

Prepare a daily summary identifying system service level commitments and key performance indicators.

·Post-Secondary Education from an Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technician Program or equivalent.

·Have received and/or eligible for OACETT certification as a Technician or Technologist.

·Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook).

·Knowledge of various types of communication systems and associated hardware for Smart Meter technology.

Install, test, operate, upgrade and maintain all smart meter communications systems and associated hardware.

Follow up with management on any potential customer service issues.

Deliver exceptional customer service experience, especially in difficult situations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Remain calm and professional even when dealing with challenging customers.

Issue fee parking notices to vehicles not in compliance with parking policy and procedure.

Utilize pay-by-phone and electronic validation systems to ensure vehicles in lots are authorized.

Collect data and conduct data analysis, review reports, manage, and resolve exceptions (errors) across multiple systems.

1-3 years of utility sector experience preferred, including familiarity with AMI, MDM/R, CIS, or ODS

Maintain department data integrity programs, manage dashboards for reporting to Senior management.

Manage vehicle fleets including lease returns, milage management, repairs & maintenance, recall/warranty repairs.

Manage employee selection including interviewing, hiring and orientation for all new hires within department.

Develop and maintain relations with Account Managers, REEF Branches, vendors, and external clients.

Manage branch parking equipment including collection, repair, upgrade, installation, removal, and programming.

Maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies, manage meter part repair depot.

Operate and maintain the performance of the various meter data collection and data management systems.

Load validation and ensure the data management system is collecting accurate and complete reading data.

Maintain and monitor meter data management system and initiates appropriate action to achieve desired system performance.

Experience and knowledge with meter installations including wiring, hardware, programming, and electrical theory.

Knowledge of IESO Market Settlement regulations, VEE, and Market Rules

Knowledge of utility billing practices, OEB and Measurement Canada regulations, and IESO wholesale metering
