As a member of Skip's Partner Marketing Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing critical marketing strategies and programs that support our branded restaurant group (BRGs), convenience and alcohol Partners. These programs will support our aggressive business and growth objectives, through working collaboratively with the Skip marketing team, National Partner Managers, BI, Finance and Product along with external stakeholders. The role requires someone who is a strategic thinker, data obsessed, highly detail oriented, creative and passionate about food. You are a passionate leader and team player, strong communicator and able to align stakeholders with varying viewpoints, priorities and deadlines.


What’s On Your Plate


Lead (Vision/Planning)


  • Successfully and autonomously dissect complex business problems and build strategic solutions at scale
  • Proactively identify marketing opportunities aligned with our business priorities and deliver campaigns or activations against them
  • Leverage data and insights on Partner performance to help drive recommendations and strategies that impact Partner performance on the network
  • Develop and participate in quarterly/yearly business reviews with our Partners to help plan and develop yearly business plans


Deliver (Business)


  • Ownership of key campaigns that will deliver on Partner objectives as well as key metrics for the business
  • Maintain and provide timely reports and success metrics including monthly reports and quarterly business reviews
  • Own departmental budget, strategic allocation and measurement to optimize return on investment
  • Be able to build relationships and trust with our Partners by developing and deep understanding of their business
  • Comfortable with a hands-on environment that involves overseeing end to end campaign execution
  • Execute on complex multi-channel projects with competing priorities and minimal supervision.
  • Take key campaign results and interpret the ‘so what’ behind the numbers to help inform key learnings and insights to inform future decisions


Care (People)


  • Provide ongoing feedback & monthly coaching to support the progression of your direct report(s) while advocating for professional development opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Prioritize focus and workload management to promote mental health and wellness
  • Build strong working relationships with our restaurant partners to develop mutually beneficial programs and partnerships that drive value for both parties


Recipe For Success


  • Driven to tackle new opportunities and challenges, strive for results, with an appetite to learn and the self-motivation to continue to develop.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role managing a team
  • Strong critical thinking, strategic planning and storytelling abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to support decisions with business success metrics and data in mind. Experience with Google Analytics or equivalent analytics tool is considered an asset
  • A strong understanding of the 360-degree marketing mix and the digital landscape
  • 6-8 years of marketing and/or agency experience in a fast-paced environment
  • A creative problem solver that can develop win/win solutions for multiple parties
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects at once while maintaining focus and deliverables with competing deadlines
  • Excellent relationship management as you will interact with various stakeholders internally and externally with our Partners
