Founder Amy Welsman was inspired to create PAUME when she became a mother for the first time, immediately noticing the effect motherhood had on her hands. She struggled with dryness, cracked skin, and weak nails from constant exposure to water, extreme temperatures, UV rays, and chemical sanitizers. She was inspired to create a brand of clean, luxurious hand care products that cleanse, sanitize, exfoliate, hydrate, protect, and nourish our hard-working hands.

PAUME has become the leader and pioneer in this niche category. Our mission is to create a ritual around hand care, featuring unique, clean formulas, our universally loved signature scent, and our striking dispensers, which balance design and sustainability. PAUME is redefining the hand care category with specially formulated skincare for your hands.

Position: Marketing + Operations Intern (September-December)

PAUME is looking for a dynamic and creative student currently enrolled in a Canadian postsecondary program to join our team this Fall. You will work alongside our team to assist with digital content creation and support e-commerce and wholesale operations. This internship will run from September 5th to December 29th.

Responsibilities

50% Content Creation

• Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube Shorts, and TikTok strategy and creation

• Plan out our monthly content calendar and own posting

• Interact with our online community

• Managing our blog, The PAUME Post

50% E-Commerce + Wholesale Operations

• Sample order creation and tracking management

• Wholesale outreach to independent retailers you think would be a great fit for PAUME

• Assist with customer inquiries and resolutions

• Analyze sales reports and other data sets

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a program at a Canadian accredited post-secondary institution

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Passion for social media and up-to-date with current trends

• Experience with video editing and photo editing

• A love for hand care!

• Willingness to work in a start-up environment (all hands-on deck)
