The Opportunity

• Rendering images, graphs, and tables to effectively communicate ideas in a clear and concise visual presentation
• Prepare reports, presentations, and boards
• Open-source projects and rapid prototyping
• Working with complex data sets
• Graphically communicating complex information and processes simply
• Working from AutoCAD plans

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Structural Engineering required
• ArcGIS and spatial analysis
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
• Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
• Experience in data analysis and visualization
• Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
• Experience with one or more of HTML, Java Script, CSS, Python
• Interested and Curious about the built environment
• Research oriented, critical thinker
• The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment

Preferred

• Knowledge of statistics and data science
• Pursing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Structural Engineering
• Experience building web applications: Webmaps, websites, data visualization
• Implementation of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality
• UX / UI methods
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher
• Engineering background
