Responsibilities
As an assembler, a normal day would include

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Recognize and report as soon as possible, any unsafe act or condition, or any defect in any protective equipment, device or clothing
• Fabricate and assemble parts using small hand and power tools
• Use measuring instruments as well as jigs
• Perform your work without risk in a safe manner, avoiding injury to yourself as well as fellow workers
• Operate automation devices and overhead cranes
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Experience in a general labour position or assembler
• Ability to understand assembly drawings
• Experience with hand and power tools is an asset
• Attention to details and like physical work
