Position: Millwright - Welder

Location: Collingwood, ON

Pay Rate: $35.00 Hourly

Industry: Manufacturing / Food / Welding

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Schedule: Day shift

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair breakdown of equipment as needed
• Keeping detailed maintenance reports and documentation.
• Other tasks as assigned
• Maintain all equipments and systems
• Reading diagrams and schematic drawings.
• Making the necessary repairs to machinery and operating machine tools to fabricate parts
• Responsible for Food Safety and reporting any non-compliance issues immediately
• Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations

Qualifications & Experience

• 3 – 5 years hands on experience preferably in a food manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Dayshift but flexible to change shifts if needed
• Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
• Overtime and/or weekend work may be required
• Licensed millwright preferred with heavy background in welding
• Post Secondary education in a related field
