Education: BSc with 10+ years directly related experience in cGMP cell manufacturing environment, or combination of experience and education

Complete other duties and projects as assigned to meet departmental requirements

Ensure efficient and compliant functioning of BTT manufacturing, including direct responsibility for drug substance and drug product manufacturing functions.

Forecast, schedule, and track all manufacturing activities to ensure timely disposition and accountability for Key Performance Indicators.

Lead a team of cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic decisions into manufacturing execution

Facilitate alignment with Aspect leadership and appropriate prioritization within manufacturing priorities.

Determining that the outcome of the integration has met the organization’s needs

5+ years’ experience at Manager or leadership level in cGMP manufacturing environment involving variable shifts (evenings/nights, weekends, etc.).

Oversee production schedules, materials, equipment, and manpower requirements.

Establish training plans for production operators and monitor the progress of the new employee’s qualification process.

Interact with the administration, regulatory affairs, product development, health physics and quality groups to meet all regulatory, financial, and operational requirements.

Work with Business Development to manage relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Possess knowledge and understanding of Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) regulations.

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or food industries.

- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is highly desired.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

- Assist in the setup and operation of manufacturing equipment.

I am interested and/or have experience with the manual handling of steel/metal products

I can read tape measurement both in Metric and Imperial, basic math skills including converting fraction to decimal, mechanical inclined

College Diploma or equivalent experience

·Familiar and comfortable with using a variety of tools (or willing to learn).

Demonstrated experience and understanding of a steel fabrication shop, ISO & CWB requirements

Working knowledge of ERP system such as JobBoss an asset

Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor Professional, or similar programs

Knowledge of welding procedures and processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience in a general labour position or assembler

Experience with hand and power tools is an asset
