Position We Are Seeking To Fill:
Additive Manufacturing Technician (full-time, permanent)
About The Position:
Reporting to and under the supervision of the Director of our additive manufacturing business. The responsibilities of the Additive Manufacturing Technician include:
·Operating metal additive manufacturing machines;
·Performing post processing operations including:
opowder removal
oband sawing
oheat treating
omanual and CNC machining operations
·Ensuring printed components are properly routed through finishing operations;
·Creating and maintaining internal process documentation;
·Following internal manufacturing standards to ensure only the highest quality components leave the department.
Required Qualifications:
This position requires a college or university technical degree in additive manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, or similar field of study. The position will include much unsupervised time and as such it is critical the candidate be a self-starter with ideas and energy to spare. Must be passionate about rapid prototyping and 3D Printing and pay meticulous attention to detail. The candidate must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced constantly changing environment with tight deadlines, including weekends and afternoon shifts when required. Experience in metal additive manufacturing would be an asset but not required.
