Maintenance Field Supervisor - Ft (Langley)

Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Maintenance Field Supervisor at our Gas Bar Administration office located in Langley, BC.

What You'll Do

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manage maintenance calls and assessments to co-ordinate and prioritize the work with maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Work with and support Safety & Asset Protection following incidents and accidents.
• Oversee the fleet vehicle maintenance of several vehicles.
• Work collaboratively with the technicians and provide key feedback, observations and daily task assignments related to the maintenance technician to the facility manager.
• Create documented procedures for tasks.
• Provide training and mentoring to maintenance technicians.
• Prioritize tasks based on the overall operational needs and requirements of the company.
• Support any annual contractor maintenance (e.g.: HVAC, suppression systems, etc.)
• Site level support for small repairs and maintenance including preventative maintenance.
• Support our contractor management program by ensuring appropriate WSB coverage is in place, procedures align to regulations as well as conduct site safety orientations.
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence.

Who You Are
You are looking for a career in a unique retail environment and:

• Proven track record as a self-starter, dedicated and reliable.
• Must have and maintain valid Class 5 DL with clean driving record.
• Must have a high-level commitment to a SAFE working environment.
• This position is based out of the Gas Bar Administration office in Langley BC; however, it does require frequent travel and work at other locations. A company (maintenance) vehicle will be provided during work hours.
• Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment.
• 2+ years of general maintenance experience with experience in leading teams.
• Must provide exemplary customer service, aligned with brand standards and core values, to our external guests, internal team, and contractors.
• As this is a physical job, the candidate must be able to perform physical job duties of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work varying shifts and times including mornings, afternoons, and some evening/weekends.
• Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as working with software programs relating to maintenance/safety.
