Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Full-Time OTC Coordinator for Retail Centre located in Langley, BC.

What You'll Do

• Co-ordinating and communicating all OTC activities between all pharmacies.
• Adhering to established purchasing processes including all replenishment activities (e.g., regular replenishment of seasonal and event purchasing)
• Working with the Management Team to ensure pharmacy standards are in effect 100% of the time, including the stockroom.
• Complying with loss prevention policies and procedures and ensures they are executed throughout the OTC section.
• Ensuring the standards of housekeeping and image are maintained.
• Maintaining the pharmacy OTC section standards to optimize customer experience, drive customer traffic, and positively impact store profitability.
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Conducting competitive price checks for pharmacy OTC and other KPI products as requested.
• Following the FCL promotional direction.
• Ensuring products are always in stock, through proactive inventory planning, and utilization of best practices and established processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Planning and preparation for OTC Inventory Management.
• Proactively monitoring and minimizing the liability of discontinued inventory utilizing weekly reports to ensure the timely return of products to vendors and being aware of all vendors return policies.
• Responsible for maintaining physical pharmacy OTC image to Co-op standards.
• Implementing new pharmacy OTC CASAM and CASAM adjustments.
• Inventory control, ordering, receiving, price changes, damages, and returns.
• Maintaining physical security activities.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e., Scanning Credibility Program).

Who You Are

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations as well as have:

• Effective organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Works effectively with management team.
• Previous retail experience (including responsibility for purchasing, Loss Prevention, as well as inventory control) for a minimum of 1 year
• Problem solving skills
• Previous Pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong understanding of computer applications and Microsoft Word
• Must be available 7 days a week to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings
• This position is based at the Langley Retail Centre, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
• Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant accredited course
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to drive the business, lead by example and support corporate programs
• Strong business and financial acumen
