Reporting to the Production Supervisor, Carpenters are responsible for the construction of Custom Cubes’ projects. Carpenters are knowledgeable in their trades and are versatile in their skillset. Fabricators are passionate about quality and precision, and in turn, customer satisfaction. They are skilled and careful, ensuring safe work practices are prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Keeping common work areas and construction areas organized and tidy during construction, as needed.
• Prepping materials in preparation for each job.
• Working collaboratively with others to complete construction.
• Cutting openings and installing doors and windows.
• Installing windows and interior doors.
• Other related duties as required.
• Flooring.
• Trimming and finishing interiors.
• Insulating and paneling interior walls.
• Constructing projects according to specs provided by project plans.

Qualifications

• 3 years of general trades experience on job sites.
• Ability to keep job site tidy and organized.
• Team-oriented and positive attitude.
• Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Learning and growth mindset; willing to undergo training if necessary.
• Strong attention to detail.
• General knowledge gained from experience, of the following skills: Carpentry, door and window installation, wall paneling, and finishing.
• Experience in working safely with a variety of power tools.
• Specialized trades experience in addition to 3 years of general trades experience is considered an asset.
